Andrew Moir

Andrew is an experienced illustrator, graphic designer, and musician. He has a comprehensive knowledge of the processes and requirements in both editorial and commercial projects, and enjoys collaborating with art buyers and creative directors.

Andrew develops each illustration by sketching, drawing using brush and ink, and experimenting with mark-making until he finds the most original approach to the image. He works out the initial compostiion traditionally before arranging and coloring digitally, adding textures and fine-tuning much the same way that a musican would record a song.

Andrew's influences include abstract expressionism, action painters, mid-century design, and punk rock concert flyers.
